FOOD PREPARATION COOK DESCRIPTION:
Experience Necessary
Involves preparation of day-to-day foods. Including soups, sauces, salads & main entrees.
Responsible for creating daily specials, creativity is a must.
Assistance with the line cook is often needed.
Ability to organize and rotate food in an precise manner.
Hours of work range form 5:30am to 3:00pm
SHORT ORDER COOK DESCRIPTION:
Involves cooking from a wide range of food dishes.
Assisting food preparation cook is often needed.
Dishes range from a full breakfast menu, a lunch menu consisting of salads, sandwiches & burgers to a complete Italian-American dinner menu specializing in steak and seafood dishes.
COOK POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Cleanliness – We have an open view kitchen where you are visible to the customers 100% of the time.
- Communication – Must have the ability to communicate well with others in an effort to expedite the food preparation/delivery process.
- Attitude – Must always present a good attitude towards employees and patrons at all times.
- Presentation – Food must always be served hot and presentable to every customer.
- Reliability – Expected to be at work when scheduled. Absenteeism & tardiness are not tolerated.
SERVER DESCRIPTION (DAYS, NIGHTS or WEEKENDS):
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must communicate well.
Prior server experience or dealing with customers is a must.
Must be able to multi-task & deal with pressure situations well.
Must be able to work well with others.
Must be reliable. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated.
Must be physically able to do lifting, mopping and other physical activities.
Must be presentable at all times and have a good attitude towards co-workers and patrons.
Must be able to complete 6-8 hour work shifts.
